Inauguration Freebies

As I sit here and watch the Inauguration of our 44th president on CBS, I am thrilled to see the entire Nation so excited and full of hope. All of the news coverage has been amazing and informative. I love learning all of the details that go with the traditions of the Inauguration.

To go along with this special day in history, I have found several retailers who are offering freebies to commemorate this day in history.

The New Yorker is giving out a free copy of the January 26 Inauguration Commemorative Cover. All you have to do is register. This will be a great addition to the scrapbook.

MoveOn.Org is mailing out "We Did It" stickers to commemorate Obama winning the election. Over 3,333,560 stickers have been ordered. Wow, that's quite the statement.

Krispy Kreme is giving away free doughnuts today to celebrate. The offer is only good today so get over there and get a free doughnut. To find participating stores, click here.

TGI Fridays is planning on holding the world's largest Inauguration Party. At 9PM tonight, every Friday's restaurant will hold a big toast to the president. Give Me More Stripes Members will receive a commemorative Friday's button, double points, half priced appetizers, and free red and white Friday's chips with salsa and chiplote ranch dip.

Restoration Hardware is offering $100 off any order of $400 or more online. Use code RNPR019. This deal is good today through 1/26/09.

Legal Seafood is declaring today a "Legal Holiday". They are offering a cup of New England Clam Chowder for 44 cents and quarts of the soup may be purchased online for $4.44. Legal Seafood Clam Chowder has been served at every Presidential Inauguration since 1981.
